Dr. Udesh Dhawan is a Research Fellow at the Centre for the cellular microenvironment (CeMi) based at the Advanced Research Centre, University of Glasgow. He has worked in a wide variety of research areas such as hierarchal materials fabrication to decode cellular behavior, engineering materials to identify how “normal” cancer cells transform to cancer stem cells and utilizing mechanobiology to engineer stem cells for regenerative medicine. His work has resulted in over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles in top journals such as Advanced Materials, Nano Today and Chemical Engineering journal.
